Naoko and John’s wedding was a special event for our wedding planners, and it was an extraordinary wedding celebration for the couple. Six-foot grape vines surrounded their wedding tent, which was set with tables spread with saffron colored Thai silk cloth.
The event was filled with guests dining on Malaysian chicken satay with spicy coconut curry, crispy Vietnamese vegetable rolls with jicama, classic Thai curry with monk fish and tomatillo, southern Indian salmon with tamarind and mustard seeds, all served on hammered silver. The ending was especially sweet when we served a wedding cake filled with concord grape and Tasmanian butter cream made by the bride, a recently qualified pastry chef!
